Vickie: Learn to Code

These terms govern your use of the Vickie mobile app (the “App”) and the vickie.app website. By downloading or using the App you agree to them.

The service

Vickie is a learning app with educational content about coding and AI. The content is for education; it does not promise a particular learning outcome, exam result or income.

Accounts

• You use the App with an account you create with email, or with your Apple or Google account depending on your device; your progress is kept in that account. You may be able to try the App without an account: your progress is then kept in a temporary record reachable from that device only, and becomes your account when you create one; such a record is closed after 30 days without use and cannot be recovered.
• You are responsible for the security of your account and for what is done with it.
• You can delete your account at any time from inside the App (see Data Deletion).

Premium and payments

• Premium subscriptions and in-app purchases go through the App Store or Google Play; payment, renewal and refunds follow that store’s rules.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled in your store account’s subscription settings.
• Prices and content may change over time; changes do not affect the current period.
• Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it separately in your store account’s subscription settings.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the App unlawfully, to harm others or to disrupt the service.
• The code runner is for lessons and practice only; abuse may lead to suspension.
• Lesson content, artwork and the Vickie character are ours and may not be copied or redistributed. The code you write is yours.

Age

Vickie is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18, you may use the App with the permission of your parent or guardian. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the current version is published on this page. We may suspend or close accounts that breach them.
